Alessandra Fel

 

Alessandra Fel is a Lecoq trained physical theatre performer and actress experienced in working for new writing projects, devised pieces, chorus/ensemble productions, physical theatre, opera, site specific work, short films, voice over and teaching workshops to adults and young people.


She trained with the London International School of Performing Arts (LISPA) for two years and gained her foundation in Butoh dance with Tadashi Endo in Germany. She is also experienced in acrobatic and clown work.


Her latest credit includes ‘The Pearl Fishers’ and ‘Radamisto’ at the London Coliseum with the English National Opera.


Alessandra is also interested in creating her own work, highly visual live performances which combine elements of dance theatre, Butoh and the world of the absurd.


Her latest work, Vita! was presented at the Tabernacle Theatre in London on the 2nd of June 2011 after a run at the Brighton Fringe Festival.

Weaving sparse and repetitive language into skilful physical theatre, Upside Down is a melancholy fairy tale with an unhappy ending.
